Active for Living Exercise Vol 2 DVD been produced by Active Ageing Australia in 2017 as a resource to assist older adults exercising at home. A great resource also for fitness health professionals working in the community or aged care settings who provide exercises for seniors.This enjoyable routine is choreographed using exercises from the very popular exercise at home book, Moving For Life Your Way.
These exercises are designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, coordination, strength, balance and flexibility. This routine will take you through warming up, cooling down and will incorporate over 25 different evidence-based exercises for the whole body. Suitable for older people with a range of abilities.
Suggested equipment
- Some exercises use a resistance band or hand weights. If you do not have this equipment you will still be able to participate in most of the exercises. Note: exercise bands are used at times in this DVD.
- Supportive, non-slip shoes
- Water bottle or glass of water
